Wadi Al Hoqain in Oman

Wadi Al Hoqain in Oman is special due to its year-round flowing water streams. This wadi is beautiful with waterfalls and ever-flowing water springs.

About 40 kilometers separates Wadi Al Hoqain from Wilayat Al Rustaq and 160 km from Muscat governorate. This valley is characterized by its year-round flowing streams which are best for taking a dip in the hot summer. It is advised to get into wadis during rainy season.

Al Hoqain is an ancient town situated near Al Rustaq in the northern side of Al Batinah Region. These Wadis in Oman are truly beautiful with clean and clear water.

Wadi Al Hoqain with its small springs and flowing water is a popular tourist destination in the Batinah region.

If you are driving from Muscat, you need to take a left turn at Al Suwaiq roundabout towards Rustaq. On the way you can see Royal Oman Airforce base. Now count the roundabouts on the way and take a right turn from the 4th roundabout.

Go further and take a left turn from the T junction. Another Roundabout is there at 1KM from the roundabout, Office of Deputy of wadis is near to the roundabout on the right side of the road. From the round about take a right turn and 750 meter ahead you can reach the Parking place.

Park the car and take the steps down to reach Wadi Al Hoqain.
